Well now we all knew I was smart (so okay maybe not so smart when you think I couldnt make a rocket to go to the moon and back but well as you'll see...)
Well I was looking at giant heads from Easter Island (mori I think they're called) and it had some text from when the island was first inhabited (which is now being considered about 1200AD not the 400-500 years previous as originally thought, The island used to have palm trees, giant ones but they all went as soon as the people populated the island in 1200AD, still it did used to look like a nice island)
Well it had some text as i said, I think its called rongorong or some such thing like that, well this is the link to the original page:
http://www.netaxs.com/~trance/rongo2.html
It shows some text that are basic pictures:
now the person who wrote the website or the article belived them to be information of a person making some fashion items but as im sure you can see, even though he or she has had so many years of dealing with this language, well its all so simple can't you see it?
Well here goes, Man sitting next to holes,he is actually planting seeds,he gets more and puts them into the hole, the third picture is either him pushing seeds into holes or more probabally covering them over with earth, the seeds grow and their roots grow and grow, a small part of the plant shoots from teh top of the seed (now that its properly rooted)and it grows into a bit more of the plant with what may be a leaf or another part of the plant but more likly a leaf, the flower well...flowers (it opens) as we can see from the 2nd from last picture and the last is when the flower fully grows and becomes perhaps a tree or fully grown plant.
So you see, its nothing much, just a simple story about a man who plants thing and how they grow, Even I did'nt need a Ph.D for that-one!
